Finished work early today as the letting agent is coming to inspect the property as part of our contract agreement. We're going to hassle him about the state of the windows - they're getting very mouldy. He fobbed us off last time, but this time we're not going to take any shit off him. I forgot to mention that we signed a 2 year contract (much against his wishes) earlier this month. Funnily enough, our actual landlord was happy for us to stay and a 2 year contract at least guarantees no rent rise for that time. I suspect the agency were pissed off as this means they don't get to spend 2 lots of the £30 "document fee" on lunchtime booze-ups.
